As of 1st September 2012, library technology provider bibliotheca will undertake the servicing for all Axiell support contracts as part of its continued commitment to servicing the UK library community.
Under the partnership, Axiell, one of the leading global LMS providers, will continue to be responsible for its Service Level Agreement (SLA) to its customers and remain the key contact for all service calls, while bibliotheca will focus on the installation and field service delivery for all Axiell’s support contract customers.
The move will see bibliotheca’s support capabilities expand by 40% with the acquisition of Axiell’s engineering and workshop base; allowing the organisation to better serve the whole library market with a larger base of engineering resources. By having an increased number of experienced, knowledgeable engineers all customers will benefit from faster response times and a higher rate of ‘right-first-time’ resolutions, as engineers identify the fault and parts required prior to the support visit.
Furthermore, customers will also receive a wider range of service benefits, including a spare part replacement service and an effective spares allocation process, and bibliotheca will now provide support to non RFID hardware as well as RFID solutions.
