Darren Ratcliffe

UK Managing Director

Darren has worked in the field of RFID and library technology for near to 20 years and has a wealth of experience in business development & consulting, sales & marketing and strategic planning. Since joining the Company over 12 years ago, Darren has spent his time developing strategic growth opportunities for the Company in his roles as Sales Manager, Director of Libraries and Sales and Marketing Director. Today, Darren’s role sees him leading the operations in the Company’s UK market. When he is not spending his time in the world of libraries and librarians, Darren enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, who he loves to play football with and take to watch his favourite team, Aston Villa. Darren is a huge movie fanatic and a keen reader – his favourite genres being autobiographies and true crime novels.

Paul Dalton

UK General Manager

Paul has worked in the library sector for over 12 years, joining bibliotheca in the summer of 2007 to oversee all sales activities in the UK, France and Benelux. During his time with the company Paul has introduced a number of key functions and philosophies designed to provide bibliotheca customers with a consistent, high-quality pre-sales and post-sales experience. Passionate about the library sector, Paul works closely with many LMS providers and library standards agencies, most recently as a member of the BIC RFID & Privacy Task and Finish Committee, to ensure that bibliotheca continues to strengthen relationships and actively contribute to the future direction of RFID solutions across the industry. When away from work, you will often find Paul on the golf course or socialising with friends and family - the 19th hole allowing him to combine the two nicely! To relax, Paul enjoys taking time out with a good crime fiction novel.

Chris Millican

UK Commercial Manager

A marketing graduate whose career has involved a variety of sales, strategic marketing and management roles, Chris has been working with libraries for almost a decade. Previously Business Manager of 3M UK’s Library Systems Division he joined bibliotheca in late 2015 when the two organisations merged. Now, as Commercial Manager for bibliotheca’s UK business, he leads the company’s sales, marketing, bids and contracts teams. When he is not spending his time in the world of libraries, Chris has a young daughter who occupies much of his free time and is a keen viewer of, and participant in a number of sports, although in recent years the rugby pitch has been somewhat replaced by the more sedate environment of the golf course. A fan of non-fiction, Chris tends to head to the autobiography shelves.

Jeanette Jefferson Brown

Customer Experience Manager

With over 20 years of high quality customer service experience, Jeanette joined bibliotheca in January 2015 as their Customer Experience Manager, her previous Customer Service experience being within a FTSE 100 company. Jeanette is passionate about delivering the highest standard of customer service throughout the whole of the customer journey and has overall responsibility for the Customer Service Support Team who are the first contact point for any after install service requirements. Jeanette’s role within bibliotheca includes first point of contact for escalated issues. She is the link between all customer touch points within the business, where necessary recommending process improvements in order to enhance the customer experience. Jeanette can be found most weekends supporting her goalkeeper son playing for his local football team, shopping with her daughter and watching her favourite football team Manchester United with all the family. Jeanette’s favourite genre of book is non-fiction crime and autobiography.
