As Microsoft support for Windows 7 comes to an end (January 14, 2020), bibliotheca is prepared to best serve customers who want to upgrade. If you currently have a Support & Maintenance agreement and are running an older Operating System, not to worry! Our teams will continue to support your bibliotheca hardware and software. If your library is interested in upgrading to Windows 10, you can take advantage of great upgrade promotions detailed below!
Operating System upgrades fall outside routine maintenance, as they are driven by Microsoft, not bibliotheca. However, we’re offering two great upgrade paths for customers who have an active Support & Maintenance agreement in place.
Both upgrade options come with intuitive self-service software that was designed specifically for library users. In addition, we now offer a mobile app that complements the library self-service experience. This include mobile checkout, interactive receipts, due date reminders, switching between multiple digital library cards and more! All within a handy app that is like a personal library assistant in your user’s pocket. Learn more below.
Our teams will gladly provide your library with quotes for both options, so you can make the best choice for your long-term investment. With a wide-spread impact on customer kiosks installed throughout North America, our teams will start scheduling customer upgrades over the coming months on a first come, first serve basis.

Terms and conditions: Offer valid in the United States and Canada when ordered directly from bibliotheca. All quotes will include installation. All associated bibliotheca software and support is included under existing Support & Maintenance agreements for PC upgrade kits. To qualify for this promotion:
1) Customer must provide serial number from existing bibliotheca or 3M hardware;
2) Purchase order must be received by December 2, 2019;
3) Product must be delivered and installed before December 31, 2019;
4) PC Upgrade kits only available on select kiosk models and require customers to be on an active Support & Maintenance contract
