Busan, South Korea — Bibliotheca will exhibit at the World Library and Information Congress 2026, the annual gathering of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), from August 10 to 13 in Busan, South Korea. Attendees will find the company at Booth A02 in BEXCO, the city’s main convention center.

The 90th congress returns to South Korea for the first time in twenty years, since the 2006 edition in Seoul. Organisers expect more than 3,000 librarians, researchers, and policymakers from about 100 countries. The theme this year is Libraries Powering Transformation.

“IFLA is approaching its first century, and for more than 55 of those years, Bibliotheca has had the privilege of supporting libraries around the world,” said Matthew Bellamy, CEO at Bibliotheca. “This 90th congress arrives as libraries on every continent are widening access, taking down barriers, and finding new ways to include everyone.”

Bibliotheca has worked with libraries since 1969, when it helped pioneer library security detection and self-service checkout. Today, through offices and partners in more than 100 countries and territories, the company covers those two fronts and everything that has grown around them: extended access beyond opening hours, returns and sorting, and the supplies and management tools that keep collections in order. In Busan, the booth will be hosted by the company’s own Asia-Pacific team.
