Lake Elmo, MN — Bibliotheca, a global leader in library technology, has officially opened its new headquarters in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. The facility is designed to enhance support for libraries worldwide, streamline logistics, and provide a dedicated space for innovation and collaboration.
The 32,000-square-foot headquarters includes 10,000 square feet of office space and 12,000 square feet of industrial space. Located near Interstate 94, the site offers operational efficiencies while maintaining proximity to Bibliotheca’s previous facilities.
“We’re thrilled to open our new office,” said Matthew Bellamy, President of Bibliotheca. “This milestone reflects our commitment to both our employees and the local community. Having our warehouse and operations in the same location allows us to work more efficiently while fostering a stronger, more connected workplace for our team.”

The facility houses a Customer Innovation Center, where libraries can explore Bibliotheca’s latest solutions in a dedicated demonstration space. It also features a newly designed training hub for the company’s field engineers, offering hands-on expertise and certification programs to ensure seamless support and help libraries maximize their technology.
Employees from around the world attended today’s ribbon-cutting ceremony. To mark the opening, Bibliotheca will donate a collection of books contributed by its employees to local libraries and community book drives. For over 50 years, Bibliotheca has partnered with libraries—supporting more than 30,000 libraries worldwide—to reimagine and enhance the library experience. By combining innovative technology with local support, the company helps libraries meet the evolving needs of their communities.
