Bibliotheca announced a new integration between quickConnect and Library Market’s LibraryCalendar, expanding the ways libraries can connect patrons with programming and community events. Available in quickConnect, the new integration enables libraries using LibraryCalendar to connect event data into the quickConnect system.
With this integration, information from LibraryCalendar is dynamically pulled into quickConnect and displayed within the self-service experience. This allows libraries to feature upcoming programs and events in a highly visible and accessible way, driving stronger engagement with their communities. The addition builds on Bibliotheca’s broader approach to supporting integrations that create more connected, flexible digital experiences.
For patrons, this means they can browse upcoming events directly within quickConnect and interact with the events in real time. They can explore event details, print or email information, or scan a QR code to learn more and, when available, quickly sign up from their own device.
“Libraries are looking for practical ways to connect their digital tools and make services more visible to their communities,” said Delaney Levey, Chief Product Officer at Bibliotheca. “This new integration with Library Market is another step in helping libraries extend the reach of their programming through the platforms they already use.”
“Library Market solutions empower libraries to deliver easier access, better online experiences, and stronger connections with their communities,” said Ben Bizzle, CEO of Library Market. “We’re excited to bring these LibraryCalendar capabilities into quickConnect, meeting patrons where they are.”
Library events and programming remain an important part of how libraries engage their communities. By providing access to LibraryCalendar content in quickConnect, Bibliotheca continues to expand the ecosystem of integrations designed to help libraries connect services and improve patron experience.
