Oakdale, MN – Bibliotheca, a leading provider of innovative library technology, will showcase its fully integrated library ecosystem and unveil a complement of brand-new solutions at this year’s Public Library Association (PLA) Conference in Columbus, OH, on April 3 – 5, 2024.

In addition to exploring other recent releases visitors to booth 2412 will be among the first to see the brand-new selfCheck 3000, Bibliotheca’s latest premium self-service kiosk and learn about the new cloudCheck mobile app.

The selfCheck 3000 builds on the market-leading capabilities of previous generations, adding functions and features to improve usability, serviceability, and customer experience. It offers modular components that allow libraries to adjust as needs change and a larger table to accommodate patron materials. The newly updated quickConnect software provides a clean, modern user experience with updated themes, icons, and guidance animations.

“Bibliotheca has been developing library self-service solutions for 30 years,” says Matthew Bellamy, President of Americas. “We are constantly innovating, talking with our library partners about what’s important today, and designing solutions to meet those needs. The new selfCheck 3000 grows out of that deep understanding.”

The selfCheck 3000 works seamlessly with cloudCheck mobile, Bibliotheca’s new groundbreaking solution that empowers patron choice and library efficiency by providing a consistent user self-service experience across kiosks, cloudCheck tablets, or the mobile checkout app.

PLA booth visitors can also explore Bibliotheca’s cloudCheck tablet, a small, streamlined self-checkout solution that makes it easy for libraries to improve service by increasing the number of service points throughout the library, and smartShelf borrow, an intelligent shelving return solution with built-in self-checkout. Bibliotheca will also be showcasing flexAMHremoteLockerstaff stationsselfCheck 500, and DLA inventoryWand.

“Bibliotheca is committed to helping libraries increase access for all users,” says Bellamy. “Whether that’s by extending hours, providing convenient holds pickup, or ensuring that users of differing abilities can make the most of self-service options, our mission is to help libraries serve and engage more people in their communities.”
