June 5, 2023
Minneapolis – June 2nd, 2023: Bibliotheca, a leading provider of innovative library technology, is excited to announce that it will bring its catalogue of library solutions and a host of learning experiences to the American Library Association (ALA) Conference in Chicago, June 22-27, 2023.
Visitors to booth 4016 can explore the capabilities of a fully integrated library ecosystem designed to enhance patron experience, streamline operations, and engage communities, and be among the first to discover Bibliotheca’s most recent product releases.
These new releases include cloudCheck tablet*, a small, streamlined self-checkout solution that makes it easy for libraries to improve service by increasing the number of service points throughout the library; smartShelf borrow, an intelligent shelving return solution with built-in self-checkout; and the redesigned DLA inventory wand.
“Bibliotheca is unique because we don’t provide just one type of library technology, such as self-checkout or automated materials handling, to address just one library need”, says Mark Hill, Chief Revenue Officer. “We are constantly innovating and designing a complete ecosystem of products that work together to solve libraries’ most pressing problems — efficiency, engagement, service, and outreach. We’re excited to bring this full range of solutions to ALA so that attendees can experience firsthand what is possible in modern libraries.”
In addition to the brand-new products, the Bibliotheca booth will also showcase the selfCheck 500 and 1000 self-service machines, the flex AMH automated returns solution, the remoteLocker outdoor holds pickup lockers, uniFi+ library communications solution, the open+ suite for extended library access, reservations, and counting, and cloudLibrary, Bibliotheca’s digital library platform.
On Saturday, June 24th, Bibliotheca will host a Tech Talk, Library Success Stories – Empowering Outreach Through Technology, featuring stories of libraries that have successfully used technology to increase access, equity, and outreach.
Throughout the day, Bibliotheca will also lead Bibliotheca Presents… a four-part series of educational presentations designed to guide librarians through technology innovations that help support top library initiatives.
