Partner Summit ON AIR 2026 - Bibliotheca

March 25, 2026

In a world where technology and culture converge at high speed, synchronization with those who bring these solutions to the field is a defining factor for success. Under this premise, Parc Tecnològic Barcelona Activa was transformed into the epicenter of an unprecedented strategic broadcast: the Partner Summit ON AIR 2026. From March 10 to 12, the Bibliotheca partner network gathered to tune into a shared frequency: one of innovation, purpose, and strategic alliance.

A Clear Signal: Partners as Strategic Allies

This event was far more than a corporate meeting; it was a space designed to strengthen the bond with the strategic allies who represent Bibliotheca’s vision across EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa, India, and Central Asia), LATAM (Latin America), and APAC (Asia Pacific). These partners act as official representatives and the local voice in more than 25 nationalities, translating technological advancements into real-world solutions for their communities.

The choice of Barcelona as the stage was no coincidence. The city, renowned for its technological ecosystem and avant-garde library network, served as the perfect “broadcast studio” for the event’s identity. In this context, the collaboration of ID Care, Bibliotheca’s official representative in Spain, was fundamental. As the local host, ID Care not only provided deep market expertise but also played a key role in the organization, ensuring every detail of the encounter reflected the excellence and spirit that characterizes the region.

Day 1: Tuning the Signal with "The Morning Show"

The “broadcast” began with Alejandro Nieto, SVP EMEA & LATAM Partners, hosting “The Morning Show” and welcoming a vibrant and committed partner ecosystem. The opening day aimed to establish the base frequency for 2026. Following this, Matt Bellamy, CEO of Bibliotheca, and Jim Hopwood, Managing Director EMEA, LATAM & APAC, led the “Tuning into the Vision” session, providing a high-level update on leadership and the company’s global direction.

The dialogue on the future continued with the live podcast “Future Frequencies,” where Delaney Levey, Chief Product Officer, Alex Hopwood, Sales Manager Middle East, Africa & India, and Peter Mao, CEO of Senserbot, explored the intersection of libraries, emerging technologies, and robotics.

A standout moment of the day was the “Value Selling” session by Bill Conry of Corporate Charisma, who invited attendees to elevate the conversation from technical specifications to the human and social value that technology provides. This approach was reinforced by real-world success stories, such as the Diputación de Barcelona and the Instituto Cervantes cases, presented by José Antonio Asensi, CEO of ID Care, and Alejandro Nieto. These examples demonstrated how solutions ranging from self-service to extended access systems like open+ empower institutions to reach further.

Day 2: Field Reporting and Strategic Synchronicity

The second day launched with a high-impact transmission focused on project execution. During the “Success Stories from the Field” session, Andrea Sinigaglia, CTO of ISNG, and Stefania Salocchi, Sales Manager Southern Europe & The Balkans, shared the details of the Commune Milano case, offering valuable lessons on successfully managing large-scale projects in complex environments.

Day 2 Partner Summit ON AIR 2026

Later, in the “Tech Flash: Future Hits” segment, James Green, Product Manager, showcased the latest innovations in self-service solutions, mobile applications, and the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence. The morning concluded with the “Strategic Synchronicity” podcast, a technical conversation on return and sorting systems featuring Hartmut Tröger, Sales Director at Telelift, along with Jim Hopwood, Alejandro Nieto and Irina Matuzova, Product Manager.

Day 2 Partner Summit ON AIR 2026

The summit’s highlight was the “Field Reporting” segment. Representatives from the 20 attending companies visited the Gabriel García Márquez Library. This visit allowed partners to witness firsthand how the technology they represent integrates into an internationally award-winning space, transforming the user experience. The day ended with “The Golden Mic” Gala at the Picasso Museum, where exceptional work was recognized among the companies leading the implementation of Bibliotheca solutions in their regions.

Day 3: The Co-creation Lab and the Sign-off

The final day focused on co-creation and strengthening the value proposition. The morning opened with the Frequency Lab, a working session led by Lorena Ávila, Sales Director EMEA & LATAM Partners, and Camila Arango, Marketing Manager EMEA & LATAM Partners. Here, strategic allies shared insights to optimize current processes and evolve toward future needs.

Day 3 Partner Summit ON AIR 2026

This was followed by an in-depth conversation titled “Creating a Stronger Value Proposition with Hublet”, where Timo Kolari, Head of Global Sales at Hublet, Lorena Ávila, and Joey Ferrigno, Sales Manager Eastern Europe, Central Asia & The Baltics, explored how to ensure digital inclusion and tablet self-lending across each region.

Day 3 Partner Summit ON AIR 2026

Before the official sign-off, Camila Arango presented the 2026 Marketing Strategy, ensuring all allies have the support needed to amplify their message. The event concluded with a final message from Alejandro Nieto, reminding attendees that while the physical gathering was ending, the communication and mutual support remain constant.

A Partnership That Never Stops

The Partner Summit ON AIR 2026 has sent a clear signal: the strength of the partner network in EMEA, LATAM, and APAC ensures that libraries in every region receive world-class support and a clear vision of the future. By strengthening these relationships and providing the necessary tools to its official representatives, Bibliotheca ensures a future of shared growth.

Barcelona was not just a destination; it was the starting point for a 2026 filled with innovation. With aligned goals, renewed confidence, and a spirit of gratitude, the message to the sector is firm: the partner network is ready and, now more than ever, remains Always ON AIR.
