| SirsiDynix and Bibliotheca Strengthen Partnership to Enhance Interface for Web Clients

Oakdale, MN – SirsiDynix, a pioneer in library management solutions, and Bibliotheca, a global leader in library technology solutions, are thrilled to announce the extension of their technical partnership aimed at improving the interface between SirsiDynix’s web clients, including BLUEcloud Circulation and SymphonyWeb, and Bibliotheca’s staffConnect software. This collaboration responds to the evolving needs of their shared customers, who have long benefited from enhanced RFID integration and streamlined workflows.

The existing partnership between SirsiDynix and Bibliotheca has consistently delivered innovative solutions that empower libraries to provide exceptional user experiences. The new phase of collaboration will build on this foundation, focusing on refining the interface for web-based clients and integrating the capabilities of staffConnect.

Berit Nelson, Chief Product Officer at SirsiDynix, expressed enthusiasm for the extended collaboration, stating, “We appreciate our long-standing partnership with Bibliotheca and are excited to embark on this new phase of joint development. Our mutual customers can look forward to enhanced usability and seamless integration between SirsiDynix’s web clients and Bibliotheca’s staffConnect software.”

Joe Grillo, CEO at Bibliotheca, echoed this sentiment, saying, “Bibliotheca and SirsiDynix have enjoyed a productive partnership for years, and we are thrilled to work together on this new phase of collaborations and integrations. By combining our expertise, we aim to deliver solutions that meet the evolving needs of libraries and their patrons.”

The technical collaboration between SirsiDynix and Bibliotheca will focus on leveraging the staffConnect SDK to ensure a seamless integration that brings efficiency and convenience to library operations. The companies will closely collaborate to refine the interface, improve workflows, and enhance user experience across both platforms.

Additionally, this partnership will build upon the success of prior collaborations, including support for enhanced RFID integration between Symphony and Horizon workstation-based clients. The new capabilities are highly anticipated, following the integration of Bibliotheca’s staffConnect Link and the prior 3M integration, which have both been well-received by mutual customers.

Customers and stakeholders are encouraged to follow the progress of this collaboration through the SirsiDynix Support Center, where updates and milestones will be shared. The companies are committed to maintaining transparent communication throughout the development process, ensuring that customers can stay informed about the latest enhancements.
